Taneesha & Chris’ Stylish Summer Wedding at The Great House at Sonning
I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Taneesha and Chris’ wedding at The Great House at Sonning, a venue I always love returning to. Set right on the River Thames, The Great House at Sonning brought the perfect mix of laid back elegance and modern charm to their big day.
The morning started with a buzz of excitement as Taneesha got ready with her bridesmaids. She wore stunning bridal separates by Catherine Deane, paired with a show stopping bridal cape from Velo Bianco - a look that felt modern, elegant, and totally her. Finishing touches came from Lace and Favour for shoes and Kiri and Belle jewellery, while the glam team from A Finishing Touch and Ivy The Hair Stylist worked their magic on hair and makeup.
Chris and the guys looked sharp in suits from Slaters Menswear, and the bridesmaids kept things super stylish in dresses from Jacqueline Louise Bridal, sourced via Bee Bridesmaids.
Their ceremony took place inside The Great House’s light-filled ceremony space, with live music from Sonore String Quartet setting the scene. After a huge confetti moment (thanks to Confetti Bee), everyone made the most of the riverside setting with drinks on the lawn — a perfect backdrop for candid photos and a relaxed couple shoot by the water.
The reception space was beautifully dressed by The Wed Shed, filled with soft florals from Vendela Rose Floral Design that brought the whole look together. The Great House’s in-house catering (by Coppa Club) served up a feast, and later on, Waffle Wands kept guests fuelled for the dancefloor with fresh waffles.
When the evening kicked off, BPM Events kept the party going with a packed dancefloor, while Catherine Luther Wedding Films captured it all on film alongside me.
