When Steph and Rich first got in touch with us about their Millbridge Court wedding in Farnham, we were so thrilled! They were planning a stylish and romantic wedding with a church ceremony. Steph and Rich are the sweetest people and we couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding!

Getting ready

We began the morning in the spectacular Millbridge Court bridal prep room where Steph and her bridesmaids were getting ready. It was a relaxed morning with lots of laughter, gift giving and a little glass breakage! Steph wore the most incredible Maggie Sottero dress and Rich who was getting ready at the new cottage on site wore a classic tailored grey suit - They looked so perfect.

The ceremony

The wedding ceremony took place at Frensham Church just up the road. Our favourite moment in the ceremony just had to be when Steph's bridesmaid wiped a tear from Rich's cheek as the first hymn started. We love weddings for so many reasons but for us, moments just like that are what they are all about. After the ceremony there was a big cheer from everyone as they made their way back down the aisle as newly weds! Before heading back to Millbridge we set up the confetti line and they got absolutely showered in confetti! We always say to couples to go overboard with confetti and Steph + Rich certainly did! Boy was it worth it!!

After the ceremony

The wedding reception took place back at Millbridge. It was a warm but not overly sunny day, which made it perfect for the guests to enjoy their fizz and canapes on the lawn. It also meant there wasn’t a battle with the sun to do the group photos! Our favourite photos from the drinks reception were definitely reactions to the magic provided by the amazing ketsy magic! Some of the expressions were priceless, especially Rich's at one point, see below!

The details

Millbridge court as a canvas is simply perfect and we have loved seeing how people use the space for their own weddings over the years. Steph + Rich opted for a purple theme with plants taking centre stage on each table. The balloon installation on the ceiling was our favourite element of their design.

the Party

After the speeches had ended with the introduction of Chelsea FC scarves (Boo!) it was time to head to the dancefloor! Steph and Rich had arranged a little routine that had a memorable finish - it was was loved by everyone and probably received an even bigger cheer than the one in the church earlier in the day! The party that followed was great fun and their band Atlantic ensured the dancefloor was pumping until the end.
