WASING PARK Wedding Photographer
Thom and Lauren’s winter wedding at Wasing Park was one of those days that perfectly balances elegance, emotion, and sheer joy. As a wedding photographer, it's always a privilege to witness such heartfelt celebrations, and this one had everything - from a stunning ceremony to surprise four-legged guests and sparkler-lit moments to end the night.
The day began at the breathtaking Wasing Park, a venue that somehow feels both grand and cozy, especially in the heart of winter. Thom and Lauren chose the Garden Room for their ceremony, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Flooded with natural light, the space felt intimate and inviting, with personal touches that made it truly theirs.
Lauren walked down the aisle with a bouquet that could have been lifted straight from a fairytale. The flowers and confetti were beautifully crafted by the talented team at The White Horse Flower Company, adding a seasonal touch that blended perfectly with the venue’s rustic charm.
After the ceremony, guests gathered for the drinks reception, wrapped in warm conversation and laughter. Midway through, there was a heart-melting surprise -Thom and Lauren’s beloved dog made an entrance, tail wagging and all. The joy on their faces said it all.
As the day slipped into evening, sparklers were handed out and guests lined up outside. The cold winter air was no match for the warmth of celebration as Thom and Lauren walked through a tunnel of glowing light, surrounded by cheers and wide smiles. It was one of those moments that makes you pause and take it all in—the love, the laughter, the magic of it all.
The night continued with a high energy performance from The Full House, a band that knows exactly how to get everyone on their feet. The dance floor stayed packed from the first song to the last, with Thom and Lauren leading the way in a whirlwind of music and celebration.
Weddings like Thom and Lauren’s remind me why I love what I do. It wasn’t just about beautiful backdrops or perfectly posed portraits, it was about real moments, real emotion, and the kind of love that lights up even the coldest winter day.
