MILLBRIDGE COURT WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
We rounded off 2019 in the most perfect way as we joined the gorgeous Kim and Ben for their winter Millbridge Court wedding just two days before Christmas!
Getting Ready
We went our separate ways in the morning capturing both sides of the prep. One of the many plus points to Millbridge Court is having two awesome spaces on site to get ready for the big day. There were nerves aplenty from both sides but you could just tell they couldn’t wait to wed! Our fave moment from the morning was when Kim’s dad saw her in her dress for the first time. Sonia definitely had a tear to wipe away from behind the camera at that point ;-)
The Ceremony
The ceremony room at Millbridge Court has the most gorgeous floor to ceiling windows, flooding it with lovely light. Add to that the incredible flowers from Fairy Nuff and you have the perfect setting. It was a lovely ceremony full of nervous giggles, loving glances and beautiful readings.
After the ceremony
Following the ceremony we headed outside to the arbor where a lot of confetti was thrown Kim + Bens way - remember folks, the more the better, there is no such thing as too much confetti! Kim and Ben embraced the chilly December day which meant we could capture the group shots and portraits outside before heading into the warm for some Canapes and champagne! They decided to have their speeches before food which worked really well as it meant we could use the last of the winter light. This is Definitely something to consider if you are planning a winter wedding. The speeches were a rollercoaster ride of emotions and ended with an award for the ‘Best Dressed’… Congrats to the winner who picked up a bottle of whiskey!
The Party
What an incredible party it was to end the day! We knew when K+B told us they were planning to have a band, as well as a DJ flown in from Ibiza it was going to be a gooden! Boy, did it not disappoint - Limbos under wet floor signs and all! Thanks again for having us Kim + Ben, it was such a pleasure capturing your special day!
